Piano Greats In this tribute to the most outstanding instrument of all time you will hear timeless music compositions from a collection of artists never before seen together in the one show. From Rachmaninov and Chopin, to Beethoven and Debussy, Winifred Atwell and Liberace, to George Gershwin and Peter Allen, Elton John and Billy Joel - Todd takes you on a 200 year journey of one of music’s most enduring instruments – The Piano. This is a celebration of the diversity of one instrument that has the power to enchant audiences worldwide. Todd has been classically trained since the age of five and has studied the works of these composers over the years and has a great passion for the ability of one instrument to have such an emotional effect on audiences. Todd has been personally invited as a guest of honor to play at the Liberace Museum in Las Vegas in their showroom. He performed on Mr Liberace’s famous “Mirrored Tiled” Concert Grand Piano. He has also had the high honor of an invitation to play George Gershwin’s very own Concert Grand Piano on which Todd played Gershwin’s most famous piece Rhapsody in Blue. Todd’s ability to perform pieces from such a diverse range of composers so seamlessly will leave you astounded. |
